Geodesic Dome

We have a beautiful, 8 meter diameter (500 sqft) geodesic dome to use as our shelter/classroom space. The dome is insulated and heated for inclement weather. We will use the dome to store our belongings during the day. The dome contains places to dry our gear, rest, relax, play, and take a break from the weather.

If you are curious about renting our dome space for an event or workshop, please send us an email and we can start a conversation about that. wildthingsforest@gmail.com

Bathroom facility

Wild Things Forest has a rustic, private bathroom onsite. Children should be independent in using toileting facilities. We provide hand sanitizer in the outhouse and in the dome.

Parking/Access

Our programming runs in all seasons and all weather. We clear snow as we are able, to ensure the accessibility of our property.

Wild Things Forest is located on a quiet, community road. Please be mindful and aware of pedestrian / animal activity and drive slowly and with caution. We want to keep our neighbours happy and safe!

Parking and Drop off for Wild Things Forest is available in a small area, just passed the end of the paved part of Falls Creek Road. There is room for around 4 vehicles. If this area is full, you may park on the paved part of the road. Carpooling is encouraged.

Our meadow (staging area) is another 300 meters up the road. Someone will meet you and your child at the parking area at the beginning of their session to walk up the road. Your child will meet you back at the parking area at the end of their day.

Please note that while the meadow entrance is usually accessible via car or truck, it is for Emergency and maintenance vehicles only.
